An expansion of the Ferntree Gully office, Peter will head up the new sales team at Bayswater, while Matt’s focus will be on growing the property management division at Bayswater and assisting with back-end management.
“I joined Matt and the Ferntree Gully team five years ago. I started my real estate career with Ray White and knew it was the right brand to align with as I took this next step and became a business owner,” Peter said.
“When the opportunity came up to partner with Matt and lead our expansion into Bayswater, I didn’t look back.”
For the partners, Bayswater was a suburb that ticked all the boxes.
“The area attracts a variety of buyers. There is a big attraction for investors because of the central location and public transport systems and we’re seeing an increasing number of first home buyers enter the market.”
“We’ve seen the median house price in the area rise by nine per cent in recent months to around $525,000. There is certainly movement in the market and the serious buyers are viewing Bayswater as a suburb to watch,” Peter explains.
As the doors to Ray White Bayswater open, Peter says the team is already established and growing.
“We have a team of five already well and truly running – a salesperson, business development manager, office manager and receptionist have all joined the Bayswater team and we will only grow from here!”
Matt says the expansion into Bayswater is the first of many to come.
“Having the capability to share data between our offices and utilising the resources, marketing tools and technology available from Ray White has made the expansion a relatively smooth process.
“We don’t plan to stop at Bayswater. As we continue to grow as a collective brand, we’ll continue to expand into other neighbouring areas!” Matt concludes.
